Hanoi Opera House

i wonder when my fascination with Asia will start wearing off.
so far pretty much everything and anything seems amusing. even seemingly normal and serious things. like a classical music concert.
but why does a classical piano player has funky red hair?
and why is there a cutesy happy hedgehog on the cover of her music score?

Malaysia-Wait, What Time Is it?

Malaysia-the food

Food is VERY important in Malaysia. The standard food intake is 6 times a day.
Breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea time, dinner, and lastly supper. The foodie conversations are one of the favorite past-times and are called "food porn". After a night out a suggestion "let's go have supper" is a norm. We had one at 4 am.
Pretty much every cuisine is present and well represented. Especially of course Asian. Malaysian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Indian in the majority. We concentrated on the Chinese in the spirit of the Chinese New Year. And had a taste of Yee Sang.

Malaysia-KL

Kuala Lumpur or KL is one of the cleanest cities in Asia. Its structures are large, shiny and brand new. Shopping malls are everywhere. The mall culture is so strong that it feels a bit New Jersey-ish at times.
